Starting an e-commerce journey with a popular platform like Shopify is a wonderful opportunity for businesses. However, over time, businesses’ goals may change, or they may want to switch to another platform and, therefore, want to end their Shopify journey. So, how to cancel subscription on Shopify?
Edit A Subscription Plan #
Editing a subscription plan in Shopify is possible. To edit your plan, you need to do the following from the desktop:
- First, click on the Apps tab in the Shopify admin panel, then click Subscriptions, then Plans.
- In the Plans tab, select the plan you want, make edits to it, and click Save.
The operations to be performed on Android and iOS browsers are similar.
Delete A Subscription Plan #
To delete a Shopify subscription plan, go to the Plans section of your admin dashboard. Then select the subscription plan you want to delete and click the Delete button, followed by the Delete Plan button. You should keep in mind that once you delete your subscription account, you cannot undo this action.
Edit A Subscription Contract #
To edit a subscription agreement in Shopify, the agreement must be created in the Shopify Subscriptions app. You can edit such as contact information, address, and delivery frequency by selecting the agreement you want to edit.
Skip An Upcoming Subscription Order #
If you want to pause a single delivery without canceling all of your subscriptions, select Subscription from the Shopify admin panel, then click on the Contracts plan. Then select the upcoming plan’s contract and Skip under the Next Orders button. Finally, you can complete the process by clicking Continue.
Pause, Resume, Or Cancel a Subscription Contract #
You can pause, delete, or continue your Shopify subscription. The first thing you need to do is click Subscriptions from your Shopify admin plan, then go to the Agreements section. Select the plan you want to edit. Once you select the plan, choose Continue, Pause, or Cancel. You cannot get back a Plan that you have canceled.
Uninstall Shopify Subscriptions #
Although the process of removing subscriptions from your Shopify store may seem simple, it is a process that requires attention. Like other processes, this can be done from the Shopify Admin. If you uninstall the Shopify Subscriptions app, you will not be able to access the app’s features, subscriptions, and plans.
A request is sent to the application developer to delete all information and details, and the process may take up to 48 hours after the request is sent.
